Who handles your information

What the website collects
The general enquiry form asks for your name, email, optional phone number, property postcode, service, optional area and timing, and your message. The boiler enquiry also collects your answers about the property, existing boiler and proposed installation. A reference and source page accompany the enquiry.
Please do not include payment-card details, passwords, medical information or other unnecessary sensitive information. The forms do not request photo uploads.
Why the information is used
Your details are used to respond, understand the proposed work, prepare or discuss a quotation and arrange a visit if agreed. The relevant basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract. Necessary correspondence, security and spam prevention also support legitimate interests in operating the business and protecting the website.
Submitting an enquiry does not sign you up to a marketing mailing list. The website does not include advertising pixels or behavioural analytics.
Where enquiries go
The website is hosted by Netlify. Netlify Forms processes and stores submitted enquiries, applies spam filtering and sends notifications to the business email inbox. The email service also processes that correspondence. Website administrators supporting 1664 Gas Services may access submissions when needed to operate or troubleshoot the forms.
Hosting and email providers may process information outside the UK, subject to their applicable data-protection arrangements. See Netlify’s privacy information and Google’s privacy information for details about those providers.
How long information is kept
Retention depends on the purpose of the record: dealing with the enquiry, carrying out any agreed work, keeping relevant business records and meeting applicable legal obligations or resolving disputes.
